Subject: Bit status on startup
Ok so I am almost finished with connecting my cnc but when I power up the KFLOP and Kanalog it seems like for few seconds every pin goes high. At that moment everything is turned on, my chip, hidraulics pump, emulsion pump spindle, EVERYTHING. So it takes a lot of power and the fuse shuts it off. Is there a way to set KFLOP not to turn on all pins to high on startup? thanks.

I'd recommend a delayed master enable relay that is enabled by a user
program. It will ignore the boot
"bad I/O pulse" and officially enable when you want it to after its
delay time-to-active.
You can get them at grainger, or I can send you a simple trimmable timer
circuit I use for a 24v realy
Just a thought. -Lee

This might be harder if everything is already wired, but it's a good
practice

Hi easydigisoft,

The SWE relay driver output is guaranteed to remain off until after all the Kanalog Outputs are initialized off.  You will need to use that, or some other means of keeping everything disabled until after the Kanalog Outputs are initialized.

Thank you very much, but I have 12 outputs that I use for pumps, hidraulics, servo enables etc etc. Where can I find relay with 12 contacts?

These are dirt cheap and can be hacked in many ways.

Hi easydigisoft,

Can't you switch the main power(s)?

maybe common hi-side drivers for relay groups.
